Join BHWOCC for a special evening at the New England Aquarium in partnership with the Boston Hub of Black Environmentalists, featuring renowned climate leader Wawa Gatheru.

The evening begins with an exclusive reception for BHWOCC and Boston Hub members, offering an opportunity to connect over light refreshments before gathering for a special lecture and live Q&A with Wawa Gatheru.

A Rhodes Scholar, climate activist, entrepreneur, and founder of Black Girl Environmentalist, Wawa will share her journey of building a more representative environmental movement while exploring the intersections of climate justice, inclusive leadership, and the power of reimagining who leads environmental change.
