September Monthly Meet-Up | Clean Up & Connect
Savor the end of summer with us at Moakley Park by getting our hands dirty and beautifying the places we love, followed by some intentional time to connect with one another. 🌳
BHWOCC will be joining South Boston en Accion, Boston Harbor Now, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, and Boston Cares for a community cleanup at Boston’s largest waterfront park!

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (breakfast, cleanup, and connection time!)

What to Expect
Accessible Commute: Moakley Park is a short walk from the JFK/UMass Red Line and Commuter Rail stop, has multiple parking lots, and hosts a BlueBike station
Community Cleanup: Help pick up and sort litter and natural debris during a two-hour volunteer session beginning at 9:30 AM
Breakfast Provided: Start the morning with a light breakfast before we get to work!
Supplies Provided: Gloves, pickers, bags, sharp containers, and safety instructions will be available
Please bring your own picker and/or gloves if you have them!
People with all levels of experience are able to join!
